Laurel Oak Country Club

Laurel Oak Country Club is located just two miles east of Interstate 75 on Bee Ridge Road in Sarasota. Laurel Oak Estates has approximately 404 single family homes and maintenance free villas that are scattered throughout the Laurel Oaks Country Club. Homes range in size from a 2100 square foot villa (60) and to 7,500 square foot estate home. Laurel Oak is a guard gated community which offers 813 acres including impeccable, plush and mature landscaping, 24 hour security and 8 miles of sidewalks. Laurel Oak Country Club has two 18-hole golf courses originally designed by Gary Player. The west course was completely redesigned in 2005 by Rees Jones. Laurel Oak Country Club also offers a 6 lane lap or recreational use heated junior Olympic pool, 12 har-tru tennis courts with a 45,000 square foot Clubhouse. Additionally, Laurel Oak is an Audobon certified community that is home to herds of deer, fox and bobcats as well as a vast bird population including heron, egret and even bald eagles. The membership at Laurel Oak Country Club also entitles you to reciprocal privileges with Bird Key Yacht Club.
